Dr. G commissioned a Trio for Horn, Violin and Piano (2017) from eminent composer William Bolcom. An open rehearsal was held at the Gilmore Festival in Grand Rapids, Michigan to preview this Trio. Dr. G was joined by American Double: Phil Ficsor, violin, and Constantine Finehouse, piano. William Bolcom was present and it was inspiring to get his comments and suggestions for performing the piece.
