Clinic – Andrew Bain

Andrew Bain, Principal horn of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, presented a masterclass to the UCSB horn students. He coached selected students on solo literature and orchestral excerpts. He focused on air production in the tradition of Arnold Jacobs. Students showed marked improvement right away through this approach.
